“Unspoken” Selected for 10th Annual Los Angeles International Short Film Festival

LOS ANGELES (PRWEB) September 7, 2006 -- Meherio Productions and Sightline Entertainment are delighted to announce their film “UNSPOKEN” has been accepted into the 10th Annual Los Angeles International Short Film Festival. The festival, which runs September 5th–14th at ArcLight, in Hollywood will premier “UNSPOKEN” September 8th at 10:15 p.m.
Directed by Tony Hickman and starring ALEX QUINN, (Last Goodbye, Clash, Curse Of Alcatraz, Lake Dead), SARA JANE NASH (Curse Of Alcatraz, Pushing Thirty) and BROOKE TOSCANO, “UNSPOKEN” explores the limits of relationships and whether some things are best left unsaid.
John (Quinn) and Claire (Nash) live what appears to be a quiet, normal life. Married for three years, the couple has forgotten why they fell in love. With the hope that their attraction will be rekindled, Claire throws John a party for his 30th birthday. Little does she know that they will meet and become friends with Christine (Toscano), a woman whose free spirited charm instantly affects John and Claire. As the couple gets to know Christine, their relationship undergoes a cataclysmic change neither expected.

About Tony Hickman
Tony Hickman has been writing, directing and producing short films, documentaries and music videos for over eight years. His shorts and commercials have entered various festivals and competitions, winning numerous awards. Since graduating film school from San Diego State University in 2002, he has run his own production company, Sightline Entertainment. He is currently in pre-production on his first feature film, “Broken Windows.”
About Alex Quinn
Alex Quinn was born into the spotlight. Groomed for Hollywood success from an early age, it was in 2002 that the son of two-time Academy Award® winning actor Anthony Quinn, decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue an acting career. Named by W Magazine as one of Hollywood's most notable kids to watch, Alex snagged early roles alongside several Hollywood heavyweights. His first starring role was in the independent feature film “An Existential Affair”, opposite Academy Award® winning actor Martin Landau (The Majestic, Ed Wood) and Gretchen Becker (The Doors). In 2003, he co-starred alongside respected actor Billy Zane in "Starving Hysterical Naked". The momentum of his acting career stepped up a notch in 2004 when he starred opposite Academy Award® winner Faye Dunaway and David Carradine in "Last Goodbye". About Sara Jane Nash
Born and raised in the South of England, Sara began acting at a very early age and hasn’t looked back since. Appearing regularly on stage, both regionally and in the fringe theatres of London, Sara took the lead roles in classics such as “Rebecca”, “Lady Windermere’s Fan”, “The Playboy of the Western World” and “Les Liaisons Dangereuses” as well as in modern day farces such as “Run for your Wife”, “When did you Last See Your Trousers?” and “Pardon Me, Prime Minister” - demonstrating an already strong ability to deliver emotional, dramatic performances as well as a natural flair for comedic timing.
Since relocating to Southern California in 2003, Sara has devoted herself to pursuing a full time acting career and has been steadily building up film credits to compliment her stage experience.
In 2006, she has already wrapped six films, which include starring roles in two full length feature films – a thriller, “Curse of Alcatraz”, in which Sara plays the role of Lana Campbell, a CSI called in to investigate the discovery of a mysterious corpse on The Rock; and a romantic comedy, “Pushing Thirty”, in which she plays Presley, an all-English knock-out with whom Nick, the star of the film, falls head-over-heels in love with.
