ShoreGroup’s CaseSentry Selected by USA Datanet for Network Operational Services Automation

CaseSentry’s Operation Service Automation (OSA) applications assures and automates the performance and availability of national service provider network.

ShoreGroup, Inc., a leading converged network solutions and management provider, today announced that its award-winning CaseSentry Systems Management solution has been selected to manage the advanced converged network of USA Datanet, a leading provider of IP-enabled communications services for the commercial, consumer and carrier marketplace. USA Datanet has entered into a multi-year agreement with ShoreGroup to utilize CaseSentry to maintain service-assurance through comprehensive systems and network management and service automation.

The scope of the overall project, which is currently in the implementation phase, includes the management and monitoring of USA Datanet’s network layer devices, critical interfaces, servers, applications and databases. In addition, USA Datanet is using CaseSentry’s Operational Services Automation (OSA) modules to automate service requests, change management and systems integration as an integral part of their customer relationship and satisfaction process. The modules enable USA Datanet to migrate from multiple independent systems to a single, enterprise-wide network and systems management platform. The end objective is to provide USA Datanet’s customers with an unparalleled level of service by providing customer service and support personnel a fully integrated operational view into the systems and network supporting their customers.
