Biblio.com, one of the world's largest marketplaces for used, rare, and out-of-print books, has promoted their current Director of Sales and Marketing, Kevin Donaldson, to a new role in their company, Chief Marketing Officer.

(PRWEB) September 11, 2006 -- Biblio.com, one of the world's largest marketplaces for used, rare, and out-of-print books, has promoted their current Director of Sales and Marketing, Kevin Donaldson, to a new role in their company, Chief Marketing Officer.

Kevin Donaldson joined Biblio.com in 2004, and brings more than 15 combined years of experience in sales, marketing, and e-commerce. Kevin has owned and operated several small businesses and brings to Biblio.com real world marketing experience and know-how to assist the company in with its managed growth strategy. His experience has lent a more "customer-centric" focus to Biblio.com’s online bookselling environment.

"We have always believed that the key to a successful business strategy lies in people," says Brendan Sherar, CEO of Biblio, Inc. "To this end, we have made it our priority to recruit and retain top-notch management who share our values and commitment to being a profitable and socially conscious company."

In 2005 Biblio.com grew its sales more than 139% over 2004. Biblio.com is a 3 year old company in the online used, rare and out-of-print bookselling segment, and has shown unprecedented growth, currently listing more than 40 million books for sale. The online marketplace has seen growth in the phenomenal online used textbook market.

"Kevin has been a vital component of our success in a highly competitive industry, and in recognition of this we are pleased to have him assume a position of leadership which will enable him to further grow with Biblio and continue to share his vision and expertise with us," says Sherar.
