MochaMates.com, an online dating, events, & trips service for Professionals of Color celebrate their launch this Wednesday, Sept. 13th at Stone Creek.
(PRWEB) September 13, 2006 -- Mocha Mates Inc. will host a website launch celebration for www.MochaMates.com, an online dating community for professionals of color. The launch party will take place at Stone Creek (140 East 27th St. between 3rd/Lex) in New York City on Wednesday, September 13th from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. The event will feature an open bar all night and be hosted by Leslie Holley, President and CEO of Mocha Mates Incorporated and Tony Molina of Molina Entertainment, a New York based promotional company.
MochaMates.com was established this year to fill a void for underrepresented single urban professionals who are looking for similar counterparts in the dating scene. In 2004, studies showed that 44.4% of African Americans had never been married, as opposed to 24.9% of White Americans1. Although African Americans are not making love connections in the 2000’s, we are climbing the ladder in professional success.
"We believe that increasing long lasting relationships between African Americans is essential for our development and success in America," states Robert Holley, co-founder of Mocha Mates Incorporated.
Mocha Mates’ mission is to uplift urban America, personally and professionally. The website caters to all people of color, ages 25 – 65, with income profiles ranging from $30,000 to $200,000.
In addition to endless opportunities to network with singles, the website features fraternity/sorority, college/university, religion, height/weight, and kids/no kids searching capabilities. Mocha Mates also administers background checks on all paying members. Gold, Platinum, and Exclusive members will be visiting Miami, Jamaica, and Brazil respectively in 2007.
