Real Estate Expo, Inc., a pioneer in consumer real estate shows around the world, debuts in Central Florida on Saturday, September 16, 2006 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., bringing an anticipated 1,000 plus consumers and real estate industry insiders under one roof at Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. Real Estate Expo is the first and only global consumer residential real estate show in the United States, which first launched in Miami in 1999 and has now taken place in numerous U.S. and international cities.
Newsworthy Elements -- Why Now?
For the past decade, the U.S. housing market has been one of the economic wonders of the world and today’s market is vastly different than just a few months ago.
According to the National Association of Realtors® the housing market is in a process of stabilizing with little change in overall sales volume expected over the balance of the year.
NAR President Thomas M. Stevens from Vienna, Va., said current market conditions are favorable for buyers. “The rise in housing supply is the biggest change in the market over the last year,” said Stevens. “This has taken pressure off of home prices and has significantly widened choices for buyers. At the same time, sellers are getting excellent returns -- but in this competitive environment they need real estate professionals more than any time since the 1990s to market their homes and maximize value.”
“Timing is essential with the changing state of the market today, for buyers, bankers, developers, builders, mortgage lenders and investors to have the opportunity to connect,” said Paolo Sadri, president and founder of Real Estate Expo, Inc. “The decline in the overall real estate market, particularly in the Central Florida area, makes this show a must-attend.”
