In the past, professional photographers have only had the ability to submit their photography for awards. VirtualPhotographyStudio.com is about to change that with the announcement of their new VeryProfessionalSite (VPS) Award. Now photography studios will be awarded for their marketing abilities, and can win the VPS Award designed to honor the best website promotions in the industry.

Denver, CO (PRWEB) September 13, 2006 -- VirtualPhotographyStudio.com announced it is launching a new awards program exclusively for professional photographers.

VirtualPhotographyStudio.com’s VeryProfessionalSite (VPS) Award will be given for best website design and marketability to one photographer each month. The winner will be chosen from all submissions, and will look beyond the looks of the site. Instead, the VPS Award will honor sites that have what it takes to market the photographer’s business online.

Each site will be individually critiqued by judges who will rate several core elements on each site, including: site design, navigation, use of photography, message to the visitors, and the marketability of the site.
