The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce in South Carolina unveiled a new website offering a comprehensive guide to area businesses for locals and tourists.

The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce unveiled their new web site only a few short months ago. The web site offers a user friendly interface and a member directory of over 1200 businesses. This allows locals and tourists alike to find exactly what they are looking for.

Last month alone, there were 2,220,536 hits on the web site, over 70,000 were distinct visits, and approximately 21,000 of these visits were unique visitors, such as web surfers from Africa, Asia, and Europe. Two-thirds of the visitors are return guests to the site, confirming the information they are obtaining is useful. The site offers information on North Myrtle Beach accommodations, real estate & relocation, chamber information, professional services, community information, maps & directions, member directory, and group tours. Among these categories there are attractions & entertainment, festivals & events, and golf packages to name a few. In addition to these links there is also a brand new media room, something that is new to the chamber web site. It contains photos and press releases for the North Myrtle Beach area; so this allows travel writers from all over the world to obtain the most current information and stunning photos of our area.

Almost 7,000 new interested people are landing on the web site each month, looking for companies and services in the area. From the day the new web site was launched the number of visits has constantly increased.
