Alsbridge Europe to Launch Four Volume “Practitioners Guide to Shared Services and BPO” at Public Sector Shared Services Conference in London

Alsbridge will present at Public Sector Shared Services Conference in London.

London, UK (PRWEB) September 12, 2006 -- Alsbridge Europe today announce that their eagerly awaited free four volume guide to Shared services and BPO will be launched at the Public Sector Shared Services Conference taking place in London on 14 & 15th September 2006.

The Practitioners Guide is designed to reflect a shared understanding of good practice at various stages in the Shared Services and BPO lifecycle. Each volume provides guidance on the following key areas:

Volume 1 – Developing a business case
Volume 2 – Organisational design
Volume 3 – Change management
Volume 4 – SLAs and service levels, charging and benchmarking

The full set combines the expertise and knowledge of Alsbridge’s consultants, many of whom have been key players in the BPO industry since the pioneering BP deals in the early nineties. They have continued to advise clients on their sourcing strategies ever since, participating in complex deals across all sectors.

The Guidelines will be of value to all shared services and BPO programmes. They will help project teams to quickly understand the issues involved, and they will save time and money for projects by avoiding reinvention of the wheel. They are based on the Alsbridge FastSource methodology.

Volumes Editor, Helen Ricardo comments: “Shared Services and BPO are now established strategies for improving processes and maximizing shareholder value. We’ve gleaned so much valuable information over the years that we felt it only right to share our knowledge and experience with others in this free four volume Practitioner Guide. From developing the business case right through to quality assurance and benchmarking, these volumes provide a wealth of information, tips and practical advice in no-nonsense format.”

As prime sponsors of the Public Sector Shared Services Conference at which the Practitioners Guide will be launched, Alsbridge Europe will have an audience of over 250 representatives from Central and Local Government. The event will be chaired by Chris Price, Head of Public Sector Practice for Alsbridge Europe, and will also feature presentations from Tim Lloyd (Managing Partner, Alsbridge Europe) and Howard Spode (Principal, Alsbridge Europe).

To receive a free, four volume set of “The Practitioners Guide to Shared Services and BPO,” please contact Helen Ricardo, tel +44 (0)20 7242 0666.
