Radio Show Launch - BookWatch Media
Announcing a new radio show, BookWatch Radio. Produced by Bookwatch Media and is composed of authors, publishers, and the writing community interested in connecting authors with their reading audience.
Fairfield, CA (PRWEB) September 15, 2006 -- "After two years of a successful television program, BookWatch TV, where we have seen a great response to the show from the community, we are now endeavoring to present a radio program that will also connect listeners to authors," says Janice Holman, Publisher of Jireh Company.
BookWatch TV has over 36,000 viewers in the San Jose, CA, area who are interested in hearing about their local authors, what books are available, and how the authors got published.
"Since 75% of our viewers are book readers, and 46% are avid readers who read at least once a week, we felt that the community would respond well to having a television show dedicated to book lovers," states Holman.
Now, BookWatch is launching its new radio show, BookWatch Radio. The program is an Internet broadcast reaching over 10 million worldwide listeners.
Tuning in to the station is easy and the sound is crystal clear. The broadcast is accessed via the Internet and is heard through Microsoft's Media Player.
Holman says, "We're very excited about the new program, because we meet people everyday who enjoy reading and with the technology available to reach millions of book enthusiasts, we're meeting our audience's need."
BookWatch Radio provides interviews that are hosted live over the phone. Listeners can email in questions and comments and have it read live on-air during the broadcast. Anyone with Internet access can tune in on their PC, anywhere in the World (10% listeners are in China).
The radio broadcast is:
| | - On-demand broadcasting

"We’re also looking for guests who are authors, enthusiastic, and energetic. Whether their book is a fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or e-book, we’re interested in looking at their media kit," remarks Holman.
