Each week listeners can join the swashbuckling Buffs-Off crew of air pirates -- Christmas Whetstone, Clay Melon, Lance Manion, and Sterling Inwood -- as they carve up the Cook Island castaways, pluck at the sacred CBS eye and send their droppings to the bottom of the parrot cage. The show reviews the drama, intrigue, lame and ridiculous as only this cracked team of commentators can render. "We're producing this show from the Buff-Off Pukapuka Island studios located in the bombed-out remains of a World War II radar installation," said Whetstone. "The production crew are recently discovered Japanese war veterans who were coaxed from their foxholes by a prank call imitating the voice of the late Emperor Hirohito.
