For the second straight year, J.D Power & Associates – the global marketing information services firm – has named John Laing Homes highest in home builder customer satisfaction in Orange County. J.D. Power & Associates released its 2006 New-Home Builder Customer Satisfaction Study(SM) on Wednesday morning, September 13.
After topping the J.D. Power list in 2005, John Laing Homes' South Coast and Luxury Divisions have enjoyed continued success in 2006. Currently, John Laing Homes offers new home opportunities in nine distinct neighborhoods throughout Orange County.
Nautilus at Crystal Cove; San Donato at Covenant Hills; La Cima at Turtle Ridge; Lucia at Talega; and SeaCrest, The Estate Collection at Crystal Cove are currently selling from Laing Luxury. Heron Pointe in Seal Beach; Four Quartets and StoneTree Manor at Woodbury in Irvine; and Ravenna in San Clemente are presently offered by John Laing Homes’ South Coast Division. "At John Laing Homes, we take extreme pride in the relationships we've established with our customers," said Steve Kabel, President of John Laing Homes' South Coast Division, which finished 2005 with a county-high 526 home closings. "The J.D. Power & Associates honor is a reflection of those relationships. Our team has worked diligently to ensure that each home is designed, built and sold with the utmost care."
The J.D. Power study - in its 10th year – includes satisfaction ratings of builders in 34 of the largest U.S. home-building markets. In order of importance, the ten factors driving homebuilders' overall success are: builder's warranty/customer service; home readiness; builder's sales staff; construction manager; quality of workmanship/materials; price/value; physical design elements; builder's design center; recreational facilities; and location.
"J.D. Power & Associates' studies include perhaps the most respected and well-researched market information available to consumers," said Tom Redwitz, President of Laing Luxury. “This year has been exceptionally exciting for John Laing Homes, and the enthusiasm and dedication of our entire team is reflected in this study."
According to the study, John Laing Homes performs particularly well in Orange County in six of the ten factors: builder's warranty/customer service; home readiness; builder's sales staff; construction manager; quality of workmanship/materials and price/value. John Laing Homes' South Coast Division plans to introduce its new in-house design center – the John Laing Design Studio – next month.
John Laing Homes' community involvement is reflected in its support of more than 100 philanthropic organizations. Employees at John Laing Homes annually raise hundreds of thousands of dollars and volunteer countless hours of time. Activities vary from supporting Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, raffling off a house to raise funds for local schools, and participating in the television show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition."
