PR News has named veteran journalist Peggy Cope as Editorial Director and Courtney Barnes as Editor of the weekly publication that has witnessed record growth in the past year. NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) September 21, 2006 -- PR News has named veteran journalist Peggy Cope as Editorial Director and Courtney Barnes as Editor of the weekly publication that has witnessed record growth in the past year. The expansion of the PR News editorial team coincides with several major strategic alliances just announced by the leading brand covering the public relations profession.

Barnes was promoted to Editor after serving as Associate Editor of PR News. Barnes is the publication's leading authority on topics covering measurement, branding and integrated communications.
