After the success of their current Spaceweights, Virginia-based Glass Atlas presents an exquisite new fall line of handcrafted collectible paperweights. Each EcoGlobe holds a 3-D scene with engraved flora and fauna enhanced with natural elements at the base. Visually zoom into EcoGlobes with their engraved butterflies, beetles and bugs and catch a glimpse of nature. It will remind you of the joy of catching fireflies on a hot summer evening in glass mason jars. This little globe paperweight will delight young and old.
“With the majority of people working in windowless offices - these affordable art pieces bring the “outdoors” in. We wanted to create aesthetically pleasing desk art with original designs etched into the glass that magnify natural beauty,” explains Beth Jeronimus, co-founder of Glass Atlas.
The artists at Glass Atlas design and engrave each paperweight. They then enclose natural elements such as lichen, dried grasses, flowers or colorful pebbles into the habitat at the base to give it a three dimensional look. Each EcoGlobe is signed by the artist, so it is the perfect collectible.
Custom engraving, company logos, monograms or small quotes are available upon request. Items will arrive in approximately two weeks and can be ordered online.
