Designer Molecules, Inc. Announces the Release of Several New Thermoset Oligomer Products

Designer Molecules Inc. has developed two new thermoset resins for use in adhesive, coating, and ink applications. Polyset 3300 is a polyester methacrylate acrylate oligomer and Polyset 9000-75T is a unique bismaleimide thermoset resin.

Designer Molecules Inc. (DMI), a San Diego-based manufacturer of premium specialty resins and oligomers, announced today the release of several new thermoset resins. The following two products are now available for purchase and sampling:

Polyrad 3300 is a high molecular weight polyester methacrylate acrylate oligomer diluted with toluene for ease of handling. Exhibits excellent chemical resistance and adhesion to many substrates.

Polyset 9000-75T is a high molecular weight bismaleimide resin diluted with toluene for ease of handling. Exhibits low shrinkage, excellent hydrolytic stability, and high thermal stability.

Designer Molecules, Inc. was founded in 2001 by Dr. Stephen M. Dershem and Mr. Frank D. Husson, Jr. to create, manufacture and market new polymer resin products for specialty applications. The company occupies a 15,000 square foot facility in the Scripps Ranch section of San Diego. The building has explosion-proof laboratories, Class 1000-10,000 clean rooms and extensive production and analytical equipment for volume manufacturing of proprietary polymer resins and radiation-curable oligomers.
