Cedaredge, CO (PRWEB) September 21, 2006 -- Klee Associates, Inc., publishers of the JDEtips Journal, announce that effective September 1, 2006, Klee Associates is a member of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) National Registry of CPE sponsors.
Klee Associates’ listing as a registered sponsor signifies that Klee’s Mastery Level workshops and training manuals meet national standards for excellence. CPAs and other certified business professionals who are required to attain continuing professional education (CPE) credits to maintain certification may now inquire when registering for JDEtips University public workshops as to the information they will need when applying to State Boards for CPE credits.
Andy Klee, President of Klee Associates and Publisher of JDEtips, says: "Qualifying to grant CPE credits to our clients is a significant achievement for us. I view it as validation by an outside, impartial organization, that our training programs are of the highest caliber. It should reassure clients that we take training very seriously and always strive to exceed their expectations when they come to class."
The NASBA Website describes the National Registry of CPE Sponsors as follows: “Developed in 1990, the National Registry of CPE Sponsors is a program offered by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) to recognize CPE program sponsors who provide continuing professional education (CPE) programs in accordance with nationally recognized standards. The names of approved CPE program sponsors are published in a listing distributed throughout the country via the internet and in printed format. State Boards of Accountancy and their licensees can refer to this listing to identify and select CPE program sponsors." More information is available at www.NASBA.org.
All JDEtips public workshops, including the eighteen classes to be offered in October in Dallas, Texas, qualify unless otherwise noted. JDEtips’ custom, on-site courses that are presented in a "Group-Live" environment and use JDEtips-developed training guides are eligible for CPE credits.
