The announcement came after NelsonHall released its annual assessment of the mid-market, in its analyst report and research findings on HR outsourcing.

The announcement came after NelsonHall released its annual assessment of the mid-market, in its analyst report and research findings on HR outsourcing, following 60 client interviews conducted during the first half of 2006. In its report dated June 2006, NelsonHall estimated PlatformOne’s market share for HR outsourcing at about 1%, which placed PlatformOne in the top ten in market share among those providers named in the report.

Subsequent to the report being published, PlatformOne released news in its August 10th announcement that it had completed the first half of 2006 with five new clients, representing over 35,000 new employees managed under its administrative services. Going forward, PlatformOne said its sales pipeline is growing faster than anticipated and the company is on track to add at least that many more clients by yearend 2006.

The NelsonHall report stated that the principal benefits that mid-market organizations are seeking from HR outsourcing are the following:
