BetUK.com (http://www.betuk.com), one of the top online British bookmakers, today released odds on more than 200 contenders for the European Poker Tour London event at the Victoria Club.

American pros Phil Ivey and Barry Greenstein lead the betting at 25/1 and 50/1 respectively but there are only 12 players listed below 125/1 for one of Europe’s most competitive and prestigious poker events.

Former World Series of Poker winner Greg Raymer is on offer at 125/1 while some of Europe’s top players such as Harry Demetriou, Willie Tann, John Shipley and Neil Channing can all be backed at triple figure odds. A maximum of 400 players can play in the event and it is expected to be sold out. The entry fee is £3,500 + £50 ($6,580 + $94).

BetUK.com spokesman Paul Cutton said: “This is one of the toughest events in the world to win and whoever does win it will have the right to claim they are one of the top players in Britain. The fact you can bet so many top players, including players who have won a golden bracelet at the World Series of Poker, at such generous odds shows just how competitive it will be.”

BetUK.com is also offering betting on which players will make the final table, at 1/10th the odds on offer for the winner. That means if the player you want to bet to win is 300/1, the odds for them to make the final table is 30/1.

The EPT London event starts at 1 pm on Thursday, 21 September.
