Sartomer Names Edward J. Ogle Manager of Metallic Monomer Manufacturing
Ogle will responsible for all plant operations at Sartomer’s Stratford, Conn., and Chatom, Ala., facilities.
EXTON, PA (PRWEB) September 23, 2006 -- Global specialty chemicals manufacturer Sartomer Company has appointed Edward J. Ogle as manager of metallic monomer manufacturing effective September 1. Ogle is responsible for all plant operations at Sartomer’s Stratford, Conn., and Chatom, Ala., facilities. Sartomer’s metallic monomers are used in coatings, inks, adhesives, composites, and elastomer applications.
Ogle joined Sartomer in April of 1992, and has held the titles of process engineer, technical manager, and plant manager during his tenure. He reports directly to Larry Athens, vice president of manufacturing.
Earlier in his career, he spent several years with Nova Chemicals in West Haven, Conn., as a project engineer and senior process engineer.
Ogle holds a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Connecticut (Storrs, Conn.).
