Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) September 23, 2006
Cascade Sky Entertainment announced today that SHOOTING NICK has been accepted into the Raindance Film Festival 2006 in London, England.
Daniel Yost, Director and co-owner of Cascade Sky, will attend the first international film premiere of SHOOTING NICK on Saturday, September 30th, 2006. The film will follow a panel discussion “Blurring The Lines”, which will explore the relationship between documentary and fictional narrative cinema. This will set the stage for the film, which is a perfect example of this genre, as the story of SHOOTING NICK revolves around a middle-aged man (played by Daniel Yost) who is shooting a documentary about American life and is kidnapped by a couple (Robert Blanche & Sarah Rosenberg) who demand that he document their trip on video. Yost shot, directed and edited the film, and wrote it with the cast.
Cascade Sky Entertainment approaches motion picture production with a focus on both art and commerce. Other films by Yost and/or Cascade Sky are DRUGSTORE COWBOY, LOVE AND SEX etc., and HANK, AARON, AND THE ALIEN FROM OUTER SPACE. The company just finished production of LOVECHILD, and is also in development and pre-production for three other projects, VIXEN a screenplay based on Leos Janacek’s opera “The Cunning Little Vixen”, A STAR FOR ROSE, and DOING IT ALL. The company will be promoting its feature film projects for sale and international distribution to U.S. and European markets.
