Singer and Illusionist Darren Romeo Brings Back Spirit of Harry Blackstone JR Live at the Kodak Theater Siegfried Present to Witness the Impossible

Darren Romeo delivers and emotional finale performance at the 50th Anniversary of "It's Magic" with a tribute to Harry Blackstone, JR and an heartfelt introduction of Siegfriend Fischbacher at the Kodak Theater on Sunday, Sept 17th.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 24, 2006 -- Singer and Illusionist Darren Romeo, the sole protégé of Siegfried & Roy and star of the hit show “Siegfried & Roy present Darren Romeo: The Voice of Magic,” stole the show this past Sunday, September 17th at the 50th Anniversary celebration of “It’s Magic” hosted by actor and comedian Jason Alexander. Romeo performed the legendary floating light bulb illusion made famous by Harry Blackstone Jr., which was originally invented by his father in the early 1900’s. This classic illusion defied explanations of modern technology and is described by magicians as one of the greatest effects in magic ever.

Gay Blackstone, the widow to Blackstone Jr., assisted Darren making this moment very emotional for all. Also present to see this tribute was Siegfried Fischbacher, mentor of Romeo. “It was so wonderful to see everything come full circle,” says Fischbacher. “Darren believes in fate and destiny. As a little boy he saw Harry perform the light bulb, and now it is Romeo to carry on this beautiful illusion. Now that’s magic.”
