Carson Wrapped Hershey's Chocolate, creators of the custom wrapped candy bar industry, has become a partner in sponsorship of the Marvin Lewis Community Fund, headed by Cincinnati Bengals Head Coach Marvin Lewis. The MLCF helps empower, educate and inspire individuals in the Greater Cincinnati region though its efforts.

Carson Wrapped Hershey's is proud to announce it has teamed up with Cincinnati Bengals football team head coach Marvin Lewis and his Marvin Lewis Community Fund to support its efforts in the Greater Cincinnati region.

Carson has agreed to sponsor the upcoming Football 101 event, which is an NFL initiative held at Paul Brown Stadium on October 5, 2006. This fundraiser hosts 450 women, who will learn the technicalities of football in a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere, with Coach Marvin Lewis and his Cincinnati Bengals coaching staff.

This year will also mark the 2nd annual Pink Football Award, recognizing a breast cancer survivor for her strength, courage and perseverance to overcome this disease.

Carson Wrapped Hershey's was established in 1993, when Edward Carson was looking for a creative way to celebrate the birth of his granddaughter, Elise. Instead of passing out cigars, he created pink candy wrappers to put around Hershey's chocolate bars. It proclaimed, "HERESHEIS," in large type. Elise's name and weight appeared in small print on the front, and other vital statistics, including the date and time of her arrival and her parents' names, were on the back.

The product line has expanded to include personalized candy bars and favors for all occasions -- birth, wedding, birthdays, anniversaries, religious events, corporate promotions, etc. Carson has its own graphic design team that can help customers create unique wrappers, limited only by their own imagination.

Carson is licensed by Hershey Chocolate and Confectionery Corporation, and is a member of several Chambers of Commerce and community organizations, as well as the Better Business Bureau and the Direct Marketing Association. Carson employs 25 full time team members and several part time members.
