German Music Released on Creative Commons License
The German musican "Alex" released his second album with alternative musics on Creative Commons License.
Germany (PRWEB) September 26, 2006 -- The second music album "The challenge" from "Alex" is released and based on Creative Commons License.
The album includes six tracks and includes styles from Gothic to Alternative Metal. The album is released with Lulu (www.lulu.com), the world's fastest-growing provider of print-on-demand books.
"This is the first time, that I could distribute my musics physically outside Germany, and it's a great experience.", said Alex, who did all the tracks from "The challenge" by himself.
The decision to use the Creative Commons License for most of his songs (and all Songs on "The challenge") is based on the fact that Alex enjoys the online collaboration and the music creation process which works best with a free and easy to use base.
"On my second album I don't care about that all license conditions would get noticed, it's possible because I'm the only author of songs located there. If people would enjoy the tracks and buy the album, they know they don't support me, they support the freedom of musics.", Alex said.
