International Hospitality Check Offers Undercover Shopping With an International Flair
Getting paid to shop, eat, work out and sleep at the finest hotels is all just another day in the life of international mystery guest/customer. That’s especially true for those who work with INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY CHECK® (IHC), a Dubai-based company that provides undercover consumers to many of the world’s hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, casinos, cruise lines, spa's and more.
Dubai, UAE (PRWEB) September 27, 2006 -- Getting paid to shop, eat, work out and sleep at the finest hotels is all just another day in the life of international mystery guest/customer. That’s especially true for those who work with INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY CHECK® (IHC), a Dubai-based company that provides undercover consumers to many of the world’s hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, casinos, cruise lines, spa's and more.
These “secret agents” visit client locations posing as regular customers. Working from a memorized checklist, since they can’t carry anything with them that would give their real mission away, these agents of quality assurance interact with the target company’s staff and actually purchase the company’s products or services. Once the visit is complete, they file their on-line reports indicating the quality of service and all of the challenges and opportunities they have encountered while on their secret mission.
If it all sounds like international intrigue, it is, in a way. “Our agents are 100% undercover and neither their identity nor the purpose for visiting a client’s establishment is ever revealed,” according to Paul Bol Raap, Managing Director of IHC. “So, to that extent, it really is a secret mission. If an agent’s cover is ever blown, they can never go to that client’s location again.”
IHC recruits freelance agents, often called Mystery Shoppers, from the countries that IHC serves. These shoppers receive client-specific training and coaching, detailing what they are to observe and how the reports are to be completed. Then they go out and eat their meals, or check-in into their hotel rooms, or even play some hands of Baccarat, the favourite game of 007 himself.
The shoppers keep track of their expenses, which are reimbursed and of course they get paid for completing the assignment.
Depending upon the nature of the assignment, shoppers can enjoy a gourmet dinner for two, spend a weekend at a 5-star hotel, and get a massage and facial at a luxury spa, and actually get paid for it all!
But lest you think that it’s glitter and romance, Bol Raap wants potential shoppers to know that they also might be asked to visit a pet shop to count the number of bunnies for sale, or check the conditions of the WC’s in a nearby shopping mall. It’s all part of the mystery shopping game, as you never know what you’re next mission is going to be.
Bol Raap also wants potential shoppers to know that they should never agree to pay a fee of any kind to become a mystery shopper. Legitimate shopping companies never charge to recruit or train their shoppers.
Bol Raap invites anyone who is interested in going undercover, as well as business owners who want to see how their customer’s perceive the quality of their products and services, to visit http://www.internationalhospitalitycheck.com [http://www.internationalhospitalitycheck.com __title__ International Hospitality Check] or contact him directly.
