Chicago, IL (PRWEB) September 26, 2006 -- Continuum Studio is pleased to announce that it is participating in three promotions throughout the month of October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to support breast cancer research, awareness and wellness efforts. Each of the promotions will raise funds for two prominent organizations: the Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization (Y-ME) and Chicago’s Lesbian Community Cancer Project (LCCP).
Through participation in these efforts, Continuum Studio hopes to make a contribution and an appropriate tribute to breast cancer survivors, those who have lost their lives to the disease and anyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.
"Continuum Studio and its professionals have an uncompromising focus on the health and wellness of our clients and our community," says Johnnie Grozenski, owner of Continuum Studio. "We are pleased to take an active role in Breast Cancer Awareness Month to help fund cancer prevention and efforts focused on recovery and wellness with two well-respected, effective organizations."
In addition to raising awareness with its current client base, Continuum Studio will be taking part in the following three local and national promotions:
Andersonville Pink Ribbon Shopping Days – Saturday, September 30, and Sunday, October 1. Continuum Studio joins other local merchants to support the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce’s Pink Ribbon Shopping Days weekend, which benefits both Y-ME and the LCCP.
PrettyCity.com’s “Pretty in Pink” Promotion – October 1 – 31. Continuum Studio provides support to Y-ME as part of a national online fundraising and awareness effort, which is supported by the top spas and salons across the country.
Continuum Studio’s “Think Pink” Product Promotion – September 30 through October 31.
Throughout October, Continuum Studio will donate 25 percent of all sales of the following innovative products and unique gifts to help increase awareness and support for the Lesbian Community Cancer Project. Each of the products sports inventive pink packaging, and can help provide a “wellness retreat” for purchasers or gift recipients:
| | - Bluewick Groove Series “Starfruit” Bath Pack – This gift box includes a vegetable-based body bar infused with the sweet fragrance blend of passionfruit, guava, and mango; plus three soy-based votive candles with the same scent.
- Thymes “Au Chocolat” Series Chocolate-Ginger Candle - A fresh and uplifting take on chocolate, where bittersweet cocoa, spicy ginger root, sweet coconut and a twist of lemon come together for an unexpectedly engaging experience.
- Gianna Rose Atelier Rose Soap Petals – These fragrant petals look and smell like real flower petals, but are actually individual hand soaps. The delicate petals come beautifully packaged and tied with sparkling bows for elegant gift giving.
