ACCTI 2006 - The Business of Language and Technology© has attracted the leading authorities in globalization, localization, translation, language standards & technology. The conference, featuring acclaimed keynote speaker Lawrence Poole, will be held in Montréal, Canada on Nov 13-15.

ACCTI is proud to announce that its keynote speaker will be the renowned Lawrence Poole. Mr. Poole is the founder and president of Montreal Training Company Gestion Consult-IIDC Management Inc. & Instituto Internacional de Desarollo Creativo, a Costa Rican educational tour operator. He is also the co-author, with his partner Suzy Ethier, of “Investissez dans votre capital creative” and the author of “Self Empowerment”. He is also a renowned speaker specializing in optimal communication, leadership skills and related topics. Mr. Poole’s topic at the conference will be “The 5 Roles of a Strategic Leader,” a fascinating talk on leadership that will draw from his knowledge of the Latin American tropics and what today’s business and government leaders can learn from the stronger species in the natural world.
Translation agencies, translators, executives, directors of international firms, localization managers and webmasters/web developers/software programmers will all find cutting-edge workshops that are directly applicable to their line of work. Workshop topics include the latest developments in internationalization standards, the legal considerations that are relevant to a successful translation business, developing effective advertising, promoting and closing sales within the globalization/localization industries.
