Advanced Concepts Center Approved as IIBA Endorsed Education Provider
Advanced Concepts Center (ACC), a learning and knowledge transfer solutions company focused on enabling business, management and information technology professionals, announces their approval as an IIBA Endorsed Education Provider.
Roswell, GA (PRWEB) September 27, 2006 -- Advanced Concepts Center (ACC), a learning and knowledge transfer solutions company focused on enabling business, management and information technology professionals, announces their approval as an IIBA Endorsed Education Provider.
A business analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. The business analyst understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. In an effort to provide a dedicated organization for the advancement of the business analysis profession, the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) was formed.
The organization is responsible for developing and maintaining the standards for the practice of business analysis through their Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). The IIBA seeks to help its members identify education providers that offer courses on business analysis that are aligned with the BABOK. These providers that offer particular courses and meet specific criteria apply for approval from the IIBA to become designated as “endorsed.”
The ACC has completed this process and received approval as a designated IIBA Endorsed Education Provider (EEP). “ACC is very involved and supportive in the progression of the IIBA organization and our Fortune 500 clients who have been utilizing our BA framework and curriculum will welcome this new acknowledgment,” states ACC Managing Partner, David Bieg. As an IIBA EEP, the Advanced Concepts Center has the following courses approved and content aligned with the BABOK version 1.6:
| | - Use Case Workshop
- Business Modeling and Process Improvement Using BPMN
- Business Visioning Workshop
- Effective Communications Skills
- Essential Skills for the IT Business Analyst
- Making a Business Case
- Modeling Business Requirements Using UML
- Negotiation Skills
- Planning and Managing a Successful Requirements Baseline
- Requirements Gathering Techniques Workshop
|
The ACC’s BA curriculum and supplemental services will enable BA’s, as well as their colleagues, to better understand their roles, responsibilities, industry best practices, essential tools, techniques and templates that are necessary to successfully complete requirements and projects in alignment with corporate strategy, thus complimenting the mission of the IIBA as well.
