Pledges to Donate 20% of Sales of Breast Cancer Shirt to Promote Breast Cancer Awareness in Southeast Texas

Internet retailer is partnering with the Julie Rogers "Gift of Life" Program in Southeast Texas to help raise money for breast cancer awareness in Southeast Texas. Twenty percent of the sales from each 3/4 sleeve pink "stronger than you think" shirt will be donated to the non-profit to promote breast cancer awareness. The program is dedicated to providing free mammograms for medically underserved women in Southeast Texas.

Thera-Wear, an Internet gift retailer committed to providing healthy thinking options for all, has announced their participation with the Julie Rogers “Gift of Life” Program, a non-profit dedicated to providing free mammograms for medically underserved women in Southeast Texas.

Thera-Wear will donate 20% of the sales from the shirt to the “Gift of Life”. The shirts are the official pink breast cancer awareness color with the subtle message of “stronger than you think” in a darker pink. The 3/4 length shirt comes with its own “prescription card” which further elaborates on the shirt’s message, which states, “Untapped strength and courage lie deep within all of us. Claim that strength and use it.” The shirt sells for $48 and is available online at

“We are proud to offer the breast cancer awareness shirt for all women. The intent is to recognize and celebrate the strength of all women, especially breast cancer survivors,” states company founders Heather Petkovsek and Elizabeth Waddill.

Thera-Wear shirts are beautifully colored, high quality “outfit components” with subtle tone-on-tone mantras for daily living. Thera-Wear sheer jersey fabric is made of 94 percent combed ring spun cotton, grown and spun in the U.S.A. with 6 percent quality imported spandex.
