Walled Lake, MI, The Works Aveda Salon, Spa and the Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce host a business chamber mixer that will benefit the Hospitality House on Tuesday, November 14th 2006. Festivities start at 5 p.m.
Guests will be able to share the highest quality services, entertainment, food and a silent auction to benefit the Hospitality House. The Hospitality House is an organization that provides help for families in the Walled Lake school district, and to date they helped more than 600 families, averaging a client count well over 1000 since they opened. On average they provide about 10,000 pounds of food a month to families in the Walled Lake area.
Enjoy hor d'oeuvres, beverages and music. Tour the Salon & Spa, greet friends and meet Harpist, Diane Dunn of Heart and Harp, who will be performing at our event and is the author of "The Adventures of a Harp Mouse" Children's Book.
“Team Works.” Join us in the Evening Garden for our fundraiser; stress relieving treatments, hand massages, and makeup applications. Donations of non-perishable goods and monetary donations will be gratefully received, or you can bring in a new unwrapped toy. Toys, goods and donations will be donated to clients of Hospitality House.
"We absolutely would like the unwrapped toy - they will go to our clients through our annual Santa Shop. Thank you again - without folks like you, we would not exist to help our neighbors," says Pam Janson, Hospitality House President.
Raffle tickets are $5. Action items highlighting a Couples Spa Connection; spa services for two. Also, a silent auction featuring “The Works” Salon, Spa Services & Aveda gift basket as well as other local business donations, proceeds will benefit the Hospitality House.
