International Senior Ladies Golf Tour Announces First Event Presented by Magique Golf

The International Senior Ladies Golf Tour (Formerly the Ladies Champions Tour) announced today that it will hold its inaugural invitational charity Pro-Am tournament at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ, on December 4.

Laguna Beach, CA (PRWEB) September 27, 2006 -- The International Senior Ladies Golf Tour (Formerly the Ladies Champions Tour) announced today that it will hold its inaugural invitational charity Pro-Am tournament at McCormick Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ, on December 4.

Amateur players recruited by the Arizona Golf Association and the Arizona Women’s Golf Association will play with ISLGT Tour Professionals in a friendly scramble format, and all proceeds of charity fundraising activities will be for the benefit of the In-and-Out Burger Foundation.

Also playing with the Pro’s, will be 2 Junior girls teams, who will be sponsored by local businesses, and all sponsor dollars will also go to the Foundation.

“After months and months of hard grinding in the establishment of this new organization, we are pleased to get all of our members together on a course for the very first time for such a worth wile cause, and appreciate our members’ generous show of support for the ISLGT,” said Vicki Fergon, President of the Ladies International Golf Tour. “This is our first tiny step in the establishment of a new Tour, but a giant step towards our goal -- the promotion of senior women’s golf, provide entertainment to the public and our fans, and help promote the valuable products and services of our sponsors and partners worldwide -- not only in the US.”

About the International Senior Ladies Golf Tour: The ISLGT was incorporated by Vicki Fergon and plans to have 14 events per year in five countries within three years, and is negotiating with sponsors and courses who are very receptive.

The new Association has 45 founder members including Marlene Hagge who is one of the original founders of the LPGA in 1950, and has received playing commitments from 61 of 84 eligible players.

About the In-and-Out Burger Foundation: The Foundation’s purpose is to assist children who have been victims of child abuse, and to prevent others from suffering a similar fate. The Foundation supports organizations that are involved in the prevention, residential treatment, emergency shelter, foster care, intervention and education regarding child abuse.

About Magique Golf: For 20 years, Magique Golf has designed, manufactured and distributed a full line of high-quality golf clubs -- including drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, irons, putters and wedges -- and demonstrated an unwavering commitment to helping average golfers play better through custom fitting. And the company’s ‘Better Fit. Better Price.’ message is resonating with golfers around the world.
