Fundmylifestyle.com Gives Chicago’s Tim Flatland Hope of Owning His Own Bentley

New pixel advertising site launches for the sole purpose of funding a Chicago entrepreneur’s need for a Bentley.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 3, 2006 -- Chicago based entrepreneur, Tim Flatland really wants a Bentley. Yes that’s right a Bentley, and he’s going to unique lengths to get one.

His site, fundmylifestyle.com, sole purpose is to provide enough revenue to purchase himself “a really nice car that I blatantly shouldn’t be driving…”

The source of his passion… The Bentley Continental! He claims it really spawned from his daily trip to work; “Conveniently located down the street (which I pass before turning into our parking lot) is a Bentley dealership. It seems I always catch the light directly in front of it turning red… where I’m forced to sit and wonder what my comforts would await my daily commute in that rolling beauty!”

Perhaps you’ve already heard of this new advertising method, there are quite a few of these sites already out there, “I’m not the inventor or originator of this grand pixel advertising phenomenon. In fact there’s probably 100’s of other sites doing the same thing, but life is not always about recreating the wheel,” claims site owner, Tim Flatland.

Think of a pixel as a small dot of space. On fundmylifestyle’s advertisement grid, a single square is 10 pixels wide by 10 pixels high, totaling 100 pixels (10 x 10). The total grid size is 100 by 100 boxes, totaling 10,000 boxes (100 x 100). 10,000 boxes each contains 100 pixels, which means the grid is made up of 1,000,000 of these small dots (pixels).

The site sells these individual boxes to advertisers, allowing them to upload an image that represents a link to their web site.

His site, in it’s own comedic way, offers a break from the normal and ironically complex web based marketing atmosphere; “How many advertising opportunities come across your desk that would support a more noble cause of knowing you put an honest and hard working guy into his dream machine? Ok, maybe noble is a stretch, but at a bare minimum it might give you a warm fuzzy feeling... and the most important thing, increased traffic and exposure to the site of your choice.”
