Website Design Firms & SEO Firms Brace for Busy 2006

Internet sales enjoyed a much higher than anticipated 4th Quarter leading many experts to predict a bullish '06 for Internet sales.

New York, NY (PRWEB) January 6, 2006 -- Internet sales spiked beyond even the most bullish predictions in the all imporant fourth quarter of 2005 leading many experts to predict tremendous growth for Internet sales and marketing in 2006.

With Internet marketing and sales growing tremendously year-to-year many businesses are increasing their Internet presence or creating an Internet presence for the first time.

David Casey of SitesSetHigh, based in New York, states, "We have already seen a spike in inquiries about website development, website design, search engine optimization and content writing."

Casey attributes a portion of this spike to businesses fearing a growing trend of consumers to buy online rather than in traditional brick and mortar stores, especially in light of the recent transit strikes in New York and London.

The already crowded market of Internet design firms and search engine optimization firms is likely to become even more crowded as Internet sales and maketing firms and design firms sprout up across the globe.

Small and mid-sized businesses are finding it difficult to select the right website development team and often point to poor communication and inferior content writing from foreign-based companies as the main problem they face.

Casey explains, "many of our clients come to us because they want a website development firm based in the United States mainly because they find communicating with most of the foreign firms, especially those in India and China to be difficult." Casey continues, "Some clients are also coming to us after they have already spent considerable money on websites with these foreign-based firms that disappear overnight leaving the site owner with little or no recourse."

With 2006 destined to be a tremendous year for Internet marketing and sales, firms like SetSitesHigh will need to continue to expand their team of SEO experts, site developers and content writers.

"We continously meet with and test developers, designers and writers so we can be assured when we need to add them to the team we have a talented pool to choose from," Casey explains. With the team already in place and a talented bullpen waiting, 2006 looks to be a promising year for SetSitesHigh's Internet sales and marketing team.
