Online Dog Breed Gift Store Searching for 'Dog Models'

DoodleSport.com, the dog breed logo embroidery store is searching for K-9 models for new designs.

Annapolis, MD (PRWEB) January 5, 2006 -- In addition to featuring approximately 80 standard dog breeds for personalized embroidered clothing gifts, DoodleSport.com also caters to owners of the new “breeds” such as Labradoodles, Goldendoodles and Puggles. Featuring new breeds means creating new logos -- so DoodleSport is looking for doggy “models” on which to base the logos.

Owners of Goldendoodles, Schnoodles and other breeds not currently represented on DoodleSport.com are encouraged to visit the site and submit a picture or pictures they feel represents their breed and which would make the best embroidered logo design. Winners will be chosen on February 1st and will receive free embroidered clothing and a signed ink drawing of the logo by cartoon artist Jim Hunt.

I know right now I’m missing a very ‘goldendoodle’ looking Goldendoodle, a flat coated Labradoodle mix and a Schnoodle -- a schnauzer poodle mix
“These new breeds can often have several looks and styles as mixing two different standard breeds is not an exact science,” says Amy Vansant Brunell, DoodleSport.com creator. “This means different logos for different versions of the dogs if we’re going to make every owner happy.”

While current logos for Labradoodles can also double for Goldendoodles, Ms. Brunell is still searching for different looks and breeds. The current contest is for Goldendoodles and Schnoodles but any missing breeds are welcome.

“I know right now I’m missing a very ‘goldendoodle’ looking Goldendoodle, a flat coated Labradoodle mix and a Schnoodle -- a schnauzer poodle mix,” says Ms. Brunell. “But I welcome any breed we’re missing, or variations of breeds that are not quite represented with our current logos.”

After an extremely successful launch in November 2005 DoodleSport.com plans to continue growing their catalog of available breeds. Dog lovers with unusual breeds have been particularly thrilled to not only get their dogs’ images on apparel but also have those logos personalized with their dogs’ names.
