(PRWEB) January 6, 2006 -- Join The National Association of Bass Clubs and become part of the new wave in bass clubs and bass club fishing. Get a chance to prove you have the best bass club in the nation, get information about your local issues published nationally, and learn from others that are club fisherman just like you.

NABC is bringing back the grass roots of competitive club bass fishing. Today’s bass fishing world has become so high dollar that the “Everyday Angler” cannot afford to participate. Instead we have to sit back and watch as those that are fortunate enough to have sponsors pay their way to compete and travel to cast for the cash.

Club tournament fishing is becoming more popular now than it has ever been, the camaraderie and spirit of clubs today is phenomenal. In fact, Bass Clubs are challenging neighboring city clubs and even neighboring state clubs looking for bragging rights. Bragging Rights are what Club Fishing was all about, that’s what created all the camaraderie, the reason we fish, to say we are the best on that given day, for the “Bragging Rights”.

So why not take it one step further. The National Association of Bass Clubs is doing just that. With an association newspaper called the “Everyday Angler”, an interactive website “Bass Facts”, and an annual tournament “For All the Marbles”; the National Association of Bass Clubs will bring what has become a high dollar and cut throat sport, back to it’s grass roots.

NABC is building a nation of bass clubs that enjoy bass fishing, support conservation efforts, and gives members a voice in the “Everyday Angler”. Bass club fisherman are by far the largest group in our sport, by joining forces there is no limit to what can be accomplished.

NABC will bring back the grass roots of Bass Fishing. Members will get:

1. A bi-monthly newspaper addressing issues important to bass clubs, publishing your clubs events and tournament results, jam packed with articles written by the everyday angler for the everyday angler. Publish your local conservation and governmental activities that you want the club world to know about.

2. Access to the National Association of Bass Clubs website, www.BassFacts.com

3. Free website hosting for your Bass Club Website.

4. A free forum dedicated to your club on Ultimate Bass. No longer need to print and mail a newsletter. Use your dedicated forum to get information out to your members. Give your members a place to brag about the latest tournament, discuss club business, or just talk about fishing your local waters.

5. Eligibility to fish for “All the Marbles”; qualifying clubs can send a six man team to compete for $83,275 in guaranteed cash and prizes. This will be an annual event to bring all bass clubs together, our first event will be in October 2006, location TBD. Among the prizes to be given away at the 2006 Championship Tournament will be a Legend LE-195 with a 150 Mercury Motor and a LE-21 with a 225 Mercury Motor.
