Sexy Brasilian Active Wear Uncovered in Vancouver

Athletes designed this exclusive new line of women's workout wear for comfort, fit and function.

Vancouver BC January 12, 2006 – Vata Brasil, a new line of sports clothing designed by athletes for athletes, is the creation of local Brasilian-Canadian Freediving athlete Mario Gomes. The hi-performance sports wear is now exclusively available from the new boutique in Vancouver.

Gomes, his wife, who is also a world class athlete, his athlete friends and acquaintances spend a lot of time talking about their sports, searching for ways to improve their own technical performance and the technical performance of their clothing and equipment. Ananda Escudero Gomes, Mario’s wife, competed in the World Freediving competition in Nice in September where she was successful in placing 4th.

Gomes came up dry or more to the point naked, in his search for athletic wear clothing sponsors for the Canadian Freediving Team. He saw this as a great opportunity to design a line of athletic wear for all disciplines of athletics and fill the void he found, by supplying other Vancouver athletes with sexy, comfortable athletic clothing.

Athletes are demanding of themselves and expect the same performance of their workout wear. Constructed of FreeFit, a cutting-edge fabric that breathes, stretches and returns to the original shape, and dries faster than cotton, the sexy, comfortable designs have surpassed all of their expectations. The construction of comfortable, tough wearing workout wear is a science in itself. Seams must be strong enough to withstand tension when the fabric stretches and flat enough to avoid chafing and riding up.
