The fest also organizes an Open House on Music Row where publishers, recording studios, producers, record labels, publicist and other music industry businesses will have a two day open door policy. "Anyone at the fest can drop in to visit Open House participants and ask questions about what part they play in the music biz.“ Popcorn says. “We’re putting the songwriters right in music row’s face.”

There is also a three day Writers Retreat hosted by industry pros to help some writers get tweaked and tuned prior to the big weekend activities.”
