PicksPal Crowns First Ever College Bowl Shootout National Champion

PicksPal player wins iPod and trophy by picking college football games and props in the free online sports picks game.

Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) January 16, 2006 -- The free online sports picks game PicksPal crowned Todd Rasmussen of North Ogden, Utah its first ever College Bowl Shootout National Champion last week, awarding him an iPod and trophy after out-picking every other player by over 100,000 points.

Rasmussen, 39, accumulated 293,353 points from college football picks starting from the New Orleans Bowl on December 20th and ending with The Rose Bowl on January 4th. I really try to see who is playing who and base it on that. Sometimes I will get online to check injury reports and stats, but over analyzing usually hurts more than it helps. I believe I do better if I go with my gut.

As for how he did it, TomTom (Rasmussen’s avatar at PicksPal) explained he rarely picks the outcomes, stating: “I pick the props. For example, I will pick who will make the first TD, will they score on back to back possessions, or will the first play be a pass or run.”

Every week PicksPal gives players 1000 points to pick games and unique props from College Football, Pro Football , Pro Basketball , College Basketball , Hockey and others using real, current odds and results.
