Arizona Summer Camps For Technology Introduced at Arizona State University

Arizona is a hotbed for Tech. iD Tech Camps introduces Arizona State University as its one of its hot new Tech Camp locations for kids and teens summer camps.

Tempe, AZ (PRWEB) January 17, 2006 -- When people think of Arizona, they usually think of sun, outdoors and hot summers. Well, this year, they can add “summer computer camps” to that mix with iD Tech announcing Arizona State University as one of seven recent campus additions for its summer camp program.

Believe it or not, Arizona hosts many technology companies due to its hot, dry weather. Many of the tech companies have offices and facilities in Arizona as the climate is well suited for chip manufacturers. iD Tech Camps also thinks Arizona is a great place for introducing area children to tech early so that they will be ready to work for these hot technology companies.

A family-run business, founded by grads from another famous Pac Ten school, University of Washington, iD Tech Camps provides weeklong day and overnight summer technology programs for ages seven to 17 at over 40 universities nationwide, including a new summer camp at the Arizona State University campus in 2006 . Now in its eighth year, iD Tech Camps has impacted technology education for thousands of students throughout the country.

Through rapid expansion, iD Tech Camps has continued to pursue excellence in its programs. The company maintains an average 6-1 ratio of students to instructors, giving them the flexibility to provide a fun and educational setting where students can articulate themselves in new and creative ways through technology. iD Tech Camps’ courses give students the opportunity to produce digital movies, create video games, design Websites, twist and warp digital photos, learn programming & robotics and more. Each student leaves camp with a completed project, new tech skills and new tech-confidence going into the new school year -- to the delight of their parents.

Offerings for this years Arizona summer camp include Multimedia Adventures, 3D Game Design & Animation, Robotics and more at the Arizona State University campus. Exciting offerings at other iD Tech Camp locations include Documentary Filmmaking in Spain and Surf & Tech, an innovative program combining tech instruction with surfing lessons. With the 2006 season right around the corner, the iD Tech team is gearing up to provide the hottest summer camp around in Arizona.
