Freebirds World Burrito to Open Third Location in Houston

Freebirds to open its 14th Texas location in February to be located in Northwest Houston.

(PRWEB) January 19, 2006 -- Freebirds World Burrito, the Texas-based fresh fast casual restaurant known for its Monster burritos, announced today their plans for opening a third location in Houston. The new restaurant will be located at 6940 FM 1960 in Northwest Houston, with a projected opening in late February.

Unique to all the other Freebirds locations, the newest Houston Freebirds will occupy a freestanding building in a highly visible location within close proximity to Willow Brook Mall. It will sport all the Freebirds’ traditional trade dress elements, which are a blend of metal and wood finishes accented by cloudscapes, brick walls, concrete floors, and a bright yellow and black color scheme.

The FM 1960 store marks the company’s fourteenth location in Texas, joining two others in the Houston area - Shepherd Plaza at 3745 Greenbriar and Webster Plaza at 528 West Bay Area Boulevard in Webster. Like all the other Freebirds restaurants throughout the state, this location will serve the company’s signature fresh, fast casual fare of burritos, salads, quesadillas, tacos, and nachos.

The privately-owned chain currently has locations in Austin, College Station, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
