Are Your Children Really Safe at School?

School violence and bullying is not going away. Teachers in Kansas City report if parents knew the extent of violent incidents, "they would keep their kids at home." There are solutions. (PRWEB) January 23, 2006 -- School violence and bullying is not going away. Teachers in Kansas City report if parents knew the extent of violent incidents, "they would keep their kids at home." The problem consists of rules not being enforced, frustrated adminstrators, and the lack of communication. Why are teachers having to keep their classroom doors locked?

There are solutions. A new anti-bullying and school violence program will make a tremendous difference in the lives of today's students. We are giving The Compass Program to the schools free. In the first month over one hundred schools have requested The Compass Program. To have an excellent learning environment, all students must feel wanted, safe, and successful. With the Compass Program, the schools will be able to make positive moves in that direction.

they would keep their kids at home.
"As a parent of two young daughters, I know how important it is to keep our schools safe. Teachers can be more effective if there is a schoolwide system of behavioral expectations. Students can learn more if they feel safe. I commend the effort you and your wife, Gail, have expended in developing this program, and I wish you all the best as you work to make schools safer for our children."
United States Senator Barack Obama

If you would like a copy we would be happy to E-Mail it to you. The Compass Program involves parents, school staff, and the community and is a no spin program. Also, please share this with local schools and as always feel free to contact us with any questions or interview requests.
