With The Holiday Shopping Season Over, Consumers Are Now Learning How To Discharge Their Debt

The Holiday Shopping Season is over. The bills are now arriving. More Americans are realizing the strain that their debt balance has on their lives. Many are now learning they can relieve this burden without consolidation, refinancing, bankruptcy.

Hoschton, GA (PRWEB) January 25, 2006 -– Consumers who abused their credit again this past shopping season, have found themselves overburdened by their credit card debt. More and more people in North America are discovering how they can actually walk away from 100% of that debt. And do it legally.

The process that is used to discharge debt is based off of U.S. Supreme Courts decisions, Title 15 United State Code (USC) section 1692, the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, the Fair Credit Billing Act, the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), and numerous Banking and Lending laws.

A single gift-giving season is usually not the sole reason for people to be over their head in debt. It is usually the culmination of years of relying on credit to make even basic purchases. Many people are drowning financially due to a job loss, divorce, or extra medical expenses. However, the underlying social pressure of buying and giving during the holidays, creates more debt than most Americans can handle.

In addition, we have become a generation with a “buy it now, pay for it later” mentality. The banks and credit card companies are partly responsible for this. They have instructed us to “Master the Possibilities”, and to “Live Richly”. Not to mention all the “rewards” we get for spending money with credit, such as airline miles or free gasoline.

Jim Vrana of The True Debt Advisor (http://www.TrueDebtAdvisor.com) refers to the period from Thanksgiving to New Years as “The Credit Card Abuse Season.” “People have no idea how much debt they have accumulated until they open up their statements in January.” He adds, “This program is giving people a fresh start on their financial lives. A ‘do-over’ you might call it. Without the credit-sting or shame of bankruptcy.”

Billed as The True Debt Advisor (http://www.TrueDebtAdvisor.com), Jim Vrana’s mission is to educate and empower people to overcome their financial challenges. The time-tested legal procedures used to eliminate credit card debt have been used by thousands of people with tremendous success. It is truly the alternative to bankruptcy, credit counseling, and debt consolidation. The program is applicable to all major credit cards and unsecured signature loans.
