Surface Mount Voltage-Controlled Crystal Oscillators on Quick Turnaround
Frequency control products specialist, Euroquartz Group has announced that its G44 series of surface mount voltage-controlled crystal oscillators is now available on quick turnround from its UK manufacturing plant.
(PRWEB) January 28, 2006 -- Frequency control products specialist, Euroquartz Group has announced that its G44 series of surface mount voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXOs) is now available on quick turnround from its UK manufacturing plant.
The Euroquartz G44 VCXOs are supplied in industry-standard 11.4 x 9.6mm SMD packages and can be delivered within 10 days. The VCXOs are ideal for a wide range of applications including phase lock loop (PLL), SONET/ATM, set-top boxes, MPEG, audio-video, video game consoles and high-definition TV.
Available in the frequency range from 1 to 156MHz, the G44 VCXOs are suitable for use in all surface mount environments and feature low jitter of 25ps typical, 28ps maximum (at 155.520MHz, +3.3V). Versions can be supplied to operate from 3.3 or 5.0V power supplies and output is TTL/CMOS compatible.
Specifications include frequency stability of ±25, ±50 or ±100ppm over two temperature ranges (0 to +70 deg C and -40 to +85 deg C), output load of 15 to 25pF, typical rise/fall times of 5 and 2ns respectively, duty cycle of 40% minimum and 60% maximum (at 50% Vdd) and typical start up time of 5ms (10ms maximum). Current consumption is from 15 to 45mA depending on frequency and pull range is from ±30 to ±200pm. Ageing is ±5ppm per year maximum.
Available for operation over industrial (-40 to +85 deg C) and commercial (0 to 70 deg C) temperature ranges, the G44 VCXOs are manufactured at Euroquartz's UK plant enabling delivery in as little as 10 days.
