“I’ve spent many hours shopping for the perfect bag, just to see the next women at the mall carrying the same one,” said Melissa Sams, owner and designer behind Claudia Rae Designs. “No matter what I did I just couldn’t seem to find ‘that bag’ the one that shouted, ME! Finally, I decided to design my own. It had the right colors for my wardrobe, it was the right shape and the right size; perfect for the items I carried and most of all, it was my personality right there on my arm. After that, every lady I knew asked me to design a bag for her. I quickly realized this wasn’t going to end here and in 2004, Claudia Rae Designs was born”
