Nigeria’s GTBank Selects VASCO's Digipass Authentication Products for Corporate Payment Solution

GTBank is rolling out Belgium-based VASCO Data Security's two-factor authentication Digipass 260 authentication devices to provide its corporate customers with secure access to its Internet based payment solution.

(PRWEB) October 2, 2006 -- The bank is replacing its current authentication system with Digipass 260 tokens. The portable PIN protected devices will provide the bank's corporate client with secure access to its internet based payment solution via one-time passwords and e-signature verification. Login requests from authorized users of tokens will be automatically authenticated by the Vacman Controller.

The vendor's Nigerian partner Value Added Network Solutions (VANSO) was integral in deploying the solution and will support the deployment.
