Prices Fall on HDTV LCD, Plasma & DLP Televisions Just in Time for Football Season

When shopping for the right high definition television, there are several different options of the types of televisions you can get in HD including tube TVs, LCDs, LCD projections, DLP projection TVs and plasma TVs.
High-Definition Television (HDTV) provides a digital picture of greater clarity and richer sound than the analog signals that have been broadcast for decades. HDTV is available in all forms of broadcast including an over the air (with an antenna), cable television and satellite TV.
All major networks that show NFL games are broadcasting in HDTV including Fox, CBS, NBC, ESPN-HD and the NFL Network. A total of 13 high definition NFL games are being presented through the NFL Sunday ticket package on DIRECTV.

Major College Football games appearing on network TVs are also being made available in HDTV on ESPN-HD, ESPN2-HD, ABC, NBC and HDNet.
