Magical Software for Kids of All Ages

Following up on their successful pattern creating program KaleidoDraw, Protozone is releasing three more critically acclaimed museum software programs for children of all ages to the world at large on CD ROM.

Huntington, NY (PRWEB) October 1, 2006 -- ProtoZone Inc. studies have concluded that children who look for patterns become more persistent and flexible problem solvers. Looking for patterns trains the mind to search out and discover the similarities that bind seemingly unrelated information together. We find patterns in art, architecture, nature, science, mathematics, music, history and throughout the course of our daily lives. Patterns are everywhere. The more you look, the more you see.

Following up on their successful pattern creating program KaleidoDraw, Protozone is releasing three more critically acclaimed museum software programs for children of all ages to the world at large on CD ROM.

Imagine opening a door to a magical doll house. A virtual space were you can design the wallpaper, carpets, mosaic tiles, pictures, almost every aspect of the house with a click of your mouse. Save your creations, print them out, the only limit is your imagination. That is DollHouse, one of ProtoZone's newest interactive programs that introduce kids of all ages to the patterns of our everyday world.

KaleidoPix is a virtual interactive kaleidoscope that transforms your pictures or the drawings you create into magical patterns, just like a kaleidoscope. In minutes, kids will be making masterpieces that they can save and print for book covers, wrapping paper, fabric designs, emailing to friends, anything you can imagine. Whatever you do, KaleidoPix makes it look cool.

These CD ROM versions of DollHouse and KaleidoPix are based on the very successful programs developed for the Long Island Children's Museum (LICM) by Al Jarnow, renowned artist, filmmaker and software developer.
Collage Machine is based on a program developed for the National Gallery of Art web site. Children 5 and up can create amazing collages from a library of over 500 pictures and graphics or add their own photos. With Collage Machine, the possibilities are endless: shape and manipulate the images, re-size and draw on them, layer them, overlap or fade them. All creations can be saved and printed as note cards or for framing, emailing, scrapbooking and more. Turn a collage into a multiple of different movies with the click of a button.

Magical Software for kids of all ages is published by ProtoZone Inc., a Software and Exhibit Design firm based in Huntington, New York, and is now available for PC and Mac in museum gift shops and specialty toy stores around the country as well as on the web http://www.ProtoZone.net
