The report reveals the most critical drivers for installing and broadening the reach of WFA and that leading organizations differentiated themselves significantly when pursuing WFA projects as compared with lesser-performing organizations.

DoubleStar, Inc., a leading provider of workforce analytic solutions, today announced the company's sponsorship of Aberdeen's Workforce Analytics 2006 Benchmark Report. Aberdeen conducted this benchmark report to evaluate Workforce Analytics’ (WFA) purposes, technical platforms and organizational progress experienced by large, mid-size, and small companies. Findings were based on a benchmark survey conducted in August, 2006 of 147 companies.

The Aberdeen WFA study revealed that the most critical drivers for installing and broadening the reach of WFA included the need to:

**Increase the quality of workforce-related decision-making

**Improve workforce productivity and efficiency

**Improve overall organizational performance

**Increase decision speed on workforce issues

The study also revealed that that leading organizations differentiated themselves significantly when pursuing WFA projects as compared with lesser-performing organizations. These best in class firms see WFA as essential in three areas:

**Assessing critical skill requirements, availability and deployment

**Measuring workforce performance

**Making and executing employee transition decisions

In addition, the study provides a summary of actions an organization can take to gradually move from “Laggard” to “Industry Average,” or “Industry Average” to “Best in Class,” to help drive the necessary performance improvements throughout the organization.
