PIER Phone Notification Capability Boosted Through New Partnership

The leading stakeholder communication technology is strengthened by enhanced telephone callout capabilities

BELLINGHAM, WA (PRWEB) October 2, 2006 -- Octopbar 2, 2006 -- AudienceCentral, a leading provider of innovative online communications software, today announced a substantial improvement to the performance of PIER, the company's flagship product. Phone notification, a key product feature, has been considerably improved through a partnership with Columbus, Ohio-based Twenty First Century Communications (TFCC), a national leader in hosted crisis communication services.

"Earlier versions of PIER were capable of contacting a limited amount of phone numbers in a one-hour period," said Gerald Baron, founder and president of AudienceCentral. "This partnership with TFCC provides PIER with the capability to make up to 100,000 one-minute phone calls per hour."

PIER supports "push", "pull" and interactive communications modes.

  • The "push" communications that PIER provides are multi-modal, consisting of email, fax and phone capabilities - methods an organization would use to distribute one-way information to its stakeholders. For example, the phone notification system, as well as email and fax outlets are used to alert contacts of a crisis involving an organization. Furthermore, PIER is fully capable of supplementing phone notification with an email to provide more detailed instructions and receipt confirmation that the instructions have been complied with.
  • "Pull" communications consist of fully functional Web content management systems that allow visitors to an organization's site to easily find and access relevant, up-to-date information.
  • Interactive communications include PIER's inquiry management function, which allows visitors to ask questions of the organization, and for the organization to track, manage and respond to those inquiries accordingly.

This new edition of PIER is effective immediately, and is part of every current PIER customer's capabilities.
