Academy of Art University Photography School Students Participate in Adobe’s Photoshop and Lightroom Education Road Show

Academy of Art University’s School of Photography students participated in Adobe’s Project: Photoshop and Lightroom Education Road Show, a travelling seminar that showcases new techniques for photographers to use technology.

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 4, 2006 -- On September 18 and 19th, 2006, students of Academy of Art University’s School of Photography participated in Adobe’s Project: Photoshop and Lightroom Education Road Show. The show is traveling to 25 elite colleges and universities through October, giving two-day seminars using Adobe Lightroom, a new way for professional photographers to import, manage and showcase large volumes of digital photographs.

In collaboration with world-renowned documentary photographer Colin Finlay, the project took students up to Sonoma County’s wine country. After hearing about Finlay’s experience as a professional photographer and learning Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, students went out into the fields and documented the wine making process at Valdez Family Wineries. The students’ images are now on display at http://projectphotoshoplightroom.com/
