D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches today announced its new line of Toasted Classic Sandwiches. The five new Toasted Classic Sandwiches are further evidence of D'Angelo's goal to provide guests with the most appealing menu in comfortable, updated settings. In addition to the new sandwich line, D'Angelo will continue its re-modeling campaign by re-opening 14 D'Angelos through the end of the year. With the additional re-models, D'Angelo will now have converted nearly 25 percent of its restaurants to the new design concept.
D'Angelo is the only sandwich chain in New England to offer guests a choice of grilled, cold and toasted sandwiches. The new D'Angelo Toasted Classics were specially developed to be enhanced by the toasting process. The Toasted Classic Sandwiches include, a Tuna & Swiss Melt, Roast Beef and Cheddar Melt, Ham & Turkey Club, Italian Bistro Melt and the Thanksgiving Toasted sandwich. The Thanksgiving Toasted Classic Sandwich features D'Angelo's 100 percent real turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and a side of hot gravy.

After a highly successful test market this past spring, D'Angelo has introduced the sandwiches company-wide. The new sandwiches start at $4.69. To further promote the Toasted Classics, D'Angelo is offering a cup of soup for an additional $.99 with any Toasted Classic sandwich purchase. The coupon is located on the D'Angelo Web site and the promotion will run through the Fall.
D'Angelo will also re-open newly re-modeled restaurants featuring warmer tones, more comfortable furniture, an updated color palette and other attributes that deliver an even more guest-friendly experience and a more alluring dine-in opportunity. Look for re-modeled restaurants this Fall in the following communities: Brockton, Chelmsford, Franklin, Cranston and Coventry, Rhode Island, as well as Salem and West Lebanon, New Hampshire. Each D'Angelo restaurant will host a grand re-opening event and donate 15 percent of the grand-opening day profits to local charities, including Easter Seals.
