Dedham, Mass. (PRWEB) October 2, 2006
Building off its successful “Crowd Pleaser” campaign, Papa Gino’s has extended its program to recognize stellar high school student-athletes throughout New England. The “Crowd Pleaser” campaign which features Tedy Bruschi, a New England favorite and quintessential “crowd pleaser” will enable athletic directors in Papa Gino’s communities to nominate outstanding student-athletes.
Nominated student-athletes will embody the traits that Bruschi possesses – dedicated, responsible, hard-working, caring and an overall good teammate. The “Crowd Pleaser” student-athletes will be recognized at their local Papa Gino’s, as the “Crowd Pleaser” athlete for the months of September, October and November.
Each student-athlete will receive a “Crowd Pleaser Meal” (2 large pizzas and an appetizer they can choose) as well as a Tedy Bruschi Papa Gino’s t-shirt and New England Patriots hat, as part of the recognition package. The student-athlete’s picture will also be displayed at Papa Gino’s as the town/city’s “Crowd Pleaser.”
“Papa Gino’s is committed to honoring student-athletes and supporting community and sports teams throughout New England,” said Michael McManama, Senior Vice President of Brand Development for Papa Gino’s. “We are pleased to have Tedy Bruschi as our spokesperson for the traits he brings on and off the field and the example he sets for all student-athletes.” “By honoring well-rounded high-school student athletes, we are honoring the character and skills that these students bring to the practice field, classroom and community.”
“We’re thankful that Papa Gino’s has recognized the need for educators and businesses to collaborate to recognize our young people,” said Angelo Fantasia, Athletic Director for Nashua High School, in Nashua New Hampshire. “As administrators, we are always happy to participate in programs that allow us to recognize the positive work our students are doing within the community.”
